Conveyor belts have a great impact on operational safety and economical use in numerous conveyors in the leisure, sports and fitness sectors. This explains why leading American and European OEM’s rely on Siegling’s products, developed in close co-operation with manufacturers and their customers for each application.

Treadmill belts

From walking to jogging training up to almost 10 mph: Siegling belts help fulfil the treadmills’ high demands.

  • Their unique, low noise underside coating means lubricants are not always required and maximum demands on acceleration are fulfilled. Their smooth tracking prevents accidents.
  • Surface patterns provide ideal grip for different shoe soles from the jogging shoe to the combat boot.
  • Their excellent straight tracking, long service life and low power consumption guarantee enduring smooth and economical operation.

Powerbelt
Siegling Powerbelts assure reliability, safety and durability in weight training machines. A mass of 100 kg (221 pounds) and more can easily be pulled over sometimes small plastic rollers.

Skiing acceleration belts
With their special coatings Transilon© conveyor belts with fabric tension member and ProLink© plastic modular belts provide ideal grip and a safe foothold for skiers. Permanent access markings can easily be applied.

Individual modules can easily be exchanged in modular belts saving time and increasing the period the conveyor can be operated.

Special applications
Conveyor belts are at hand in various other training, sport and fitness applications.

They help canoes pass through barrage weirs.

They are used in free climbing, snowboarding or in biathlons as a climbing or
treadmill belt.

They help people and animals in rehab on walking machinery, even under water.

Skiing conveyor belts
Angles of incline of up to 25° can be achieved with ProLink© plastic modular belts at belt velocities of between 0.1 and 0.6m/sec (0.3 and 1.9 ft/s).

Even at temperatures as low as –40° F they guarantee that skiers are conveyed smoothly and without slipping. The plastic catches on the modules hold the ski safely, avoiding the risk of accident.

The modular construction of the belts means that the belt length can be easily modified at any time to adapt to new conditions.
