Conveyor and processing belts in the wood processing industry |
|
Conveying and processing wood efficiently From the processing of solid wood board manufacture: for the efficient processing of wood the functions of the conveyor belts used in the procedure are crucial at many stages.
Consequently the demands placed on the belts used are high and just as varied as the individual steps in production.
Siegling fulfils them reliably. As worldwide leader in the manufacture of conveyor and processing belts Siegling, with its years of experience, is familiar with the requirements of the wood industry.
The Transilon range for the wood processing industry is the result of close cooperation with constructors of machinery and wood processing companies.
Simple splicing methods allow belts to be made endless on site and ensure durable splices. Easy adjustment and long service lives save time and money.

Conducto® ventilation belt and Transilon® pre-press belt: The ideal duo from Siegling
Good ventilation The ventilation belt with its uniform permeability presses the chip mat down onto the infeed section from a maximum dumping height – without leaving craters in the board. Thanks to its permeable but strong fabric structure and sealed edges, the belt masters two tasks at once: ventilation and pre-compression.
Safe static discharge Warpwise woven polyester and bronze threads make the belt highly conductive and prevent electrostatic charging.
Quick fitting Thanks to a new splicing technology developed by Siegling, the ventilation belt can be fitted without having to dismantle the pre-press, so line downtimes are nominal. Since the belts can be replaced quickly, the fitting times are reduced to a minimum, with an up to 70% time-saving.
No soiling The high-conductivity prevents the adhesion of chip mat material and as a result, there is no caking or damage to the belt. So instead of downtimes for cleaning, productivity increases significantly.
